My Mo-mo Kitty

She was a beauty! She was a Himalayan cat with the most beautiful vivid blue eyes. She was loving and lovely. We used to sing together! She would come to me when I was sick, and lay her head on me. She didn't expect anything from me. She just knew I needed company. I will never forget this sweet kitty. She loved her head patted and scratched, and would repay me with a beautiful "Meow!" and sometimes, she would walk around me, again and again, and rub up on the sides of my legs. She just had a way of looking up at me.

I was closing down the house to get ready for bed. Mo-mo stirred her head and peered at me from her bed. As always, I went to pat her head and give her ears a good scratch before bed. She accepted my affections gratefully. When I was through, I said, "Good night Mo-mo." She looked up at me, gave a long and loud meow and then was dead.
